El Terreno House

The main idea of this project was to maintain the same line of the architecture of this newly built house in the center of Palma, which carefully combines the traditional elements (the typical blue Majorcan shutters, the wooden exterior carpentry with decorative panels) with the modern ones (the hammered limestone, whitened oak wood). Therefore, classic Danish furniture from the last century (CH20 Elbow chair, CH23, KK96620 Faaborg chair, OW149 Colonial chair) has been incorporated with the contemporary one. An attempt has also been made to complement the aesthetics of the house with the choice of contrasting materials and colors (such as steel and wood for structural elements of the staircase, leather and velvet in the same environment, and especially the use of wood paneling as a design element in several rooms and bathrooms, giving a unique personality to the project).
