The architectural style of this newly built house in Bendinat (Calvià municipality, Majorca) was following very strict minimalistic lines, which went hand in hand with the election of contemporary construction materials with plenty of concrete, aluminum and glass elements. We were given the task to make the interior of this building in a privileged place next to the sea (very near to Marivent) cozier and warmer, which would contrast with the above described cold architectural style. For that reason, as many as possible natural materials were selected for the interior (wood, stone, rattan), as well as predominant warm brown and beige color shades.
